Get a birds’ eye view of Hampshire’s hottest hawks

Test Valley, Hampshire

Fly a Red Kite at the Hawk Conservancy Trust and learn all about the world’s top birds of prey.

Gaze upon 22 acres of woodland and wildflower meadow at Weyhill, near Andover, where the Trust is home to an impressive collection of birds, from the tiny Pygmy Owl to the magnificent Steller’s Sea Eagle.

Whether you want to learn about the worldwide conservation programmes which the Trust is leading or experience flying a vulture, eagle or owl, Weyhill is the place to visit.

Immerse yourself among the birds in the spectacular “Valley of the Eagles.” Visit the National Bird of Prey Hospital with Europe’s largest rehabilitation aviary dedicated to raptors. Grasp the opportunity to hold a bird of prey – they’ll lend you a gauntlet -- and meet the characters of the Trust. Or you could marvel at the magical ‘Owls by Moonlight’ evening to appreciate these ghostly creatures at their hunting best.

Tasty treats are available all day at Feathers Restaurant which specializes in local food.
