This working windmill is open free to the public daily, and ideal for families looking to find out about one of Nottinghamshire's little known legends.

George Green was an important scientist and mathematician, whose theories are still used today in engineering, science and quantum physics. Visit his historic windmill, with plenty of interactive experiences for families looking for a day out with a difference.

See the miller using the wind powered sails to grind their award-winning flour from locally sourced grains. The Soil Association recently gave their organic white flour its gold award.

Want to get baking? Join a pizza workshop onsite, and enjoy the flour at its best.
