Enjoy a family break in Bath without breaking the bank with some outdoor fun at Bath Sykline’s woodland play area and exploring a top art museum.
If you’re looking to explore Bath on a budget, pack a picnic for the family and head for the National Trust’s Bath Skyline Walk. This six mile circular route has perfect vantage points to view the city laid out below in miniature. Stop off at the woodland play area for tree climbing, swinging and a log seesaw and let the little ones run wild before making your way back to the city.
Spend the afternoon browsing the free art exhibitions at the Victoria Art Gallery displaying hundreds of years of art history, before walking down Great Pulteney Street to the grand Holburne Museum situated in Sydney Gardens. These museums have fun interactive displays and even places for kids to draw their own colourful creations.
