Spend a city break touring Gloucester on the Scrumpty trail, spotting the 5ft-tall sculptures decorated by local, national and international artists.
A new character will be seen in Gloucester during the summer of 2015. Twenty 5ft-tall sculptures of Scrumpty will adorn the city's streets to form a sculpture trail from the beginning of August to the end of October, throughout the period of festivals and sporting tournaments.
Gloucester has adopted the nursery rhyme character of Humpty Dumpty, named after a cannon that was used to knock down Gloucester’s city walls during the Civil War. As it’s a big year for sport, Scrumpty is putting on his rugby jersey for Rugby World Cup 2015.
The sculptures, painted by local, national, and international artists, will be scattered across the city, taking you on a tour of its impressive sights and buzzing neighbourhoods.
