Fly a kite on Parliament Hill and admire the views of London

London

On a clear yet windy day, fly a kite on London's Hampstead Heath, then walk to the historic Spaniards Inn pub for a pie and a pint.

One of the most impressive views of London can be seen up on top of Parliament Hill in Hampstead Heath. From here you can see back across the city towards the Shard, the Gherkin, and the EDF Energy London Eye.

Once you’ve taken a few photos and soaked up the view, it’s time to get more active and fly that kite you’ve brought along. When your arms get tired, pack the kite away and head north across the wooded heath.

Your final task is to locate the historical Spaniards Inn pub - where writers such as Keats, Shelly and Byron penned notable works - to settle in for a relaxing pint of ale and a well-earned beef pie.
