Exeter’s Underground Passages date back to the 14th century and were originally vaulted passages used to repair water pipes. Those on a family holiday and looking for unusual places to go with kids can explore this ancient monument by taking a walk directly under Exeter's High Street and on into the heart of the city.

Head above ground to visit the Exeter Royal Albert Memorial Museum and see one of England’s largest Natural History collections; learn about botany, archaeology, geology and fine art.

After a busy day spent discovering Exeter, both above and underground, have a well-deserved sit-down, choosing from a range of locally sourced free-range burgers at Urban Burger.
