Stratford-upon-Avon’s River Festival in the summer is a two-day extravaganza on the banks of the River Avon.
A real treat for boat lovers, the River Festival is a true celebration of life on the River Avon in the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Get into the festival spirit with a pint of locally brewed ale or visit the traditional English Pimm’s tent. Relax by the river and tuck into vintage-style tasty treats from the themed food outlets.
For those who prefer to stay on land there is a craft village, climbing wall, live music, family zone, street entertainment and performers on the bandstand.
A spectacular illuminated boat parade includes 100 stunning boats moored on the river for a grand firework display on the Saturday night.
This year’s event takes place on Saturday June 30th and Sunday July 1st, featuring more free events than ever before.
