Go wild and become a zookeeper for the day at Marwell Zoo

Winchester, Hampshire

This unique once-in-a-lifetime experience will allow you to get up close to some of nature’s most endangered species for a memory you’ll never forget.

From giraffes and rhinos to reptiles and penguins, your Keeper for a Day experience will give you access to some of Marwell Zoo’s most popular inhabitants.

The 140-acre zoological park is home to hundreds of exotic and endangered species. A typical day may include preparing food, mucking out enclosures or feeding the animals.

Other highlights include close encounters with the big cats and behind-the-scenes access. At the end of your visit, you will receive a certificate and souvenirs to remember your time at Marwell.

In the evening, relax in the nearby safari-style Marwell Hotel. Ideal for family and group holidays, bedrooms are split between four lodges and connected by open corridors from which you can admire the surrounding woodland.

Marwell Zoo is expected to reopen shortly, although there is no set date currently - please check the website through the link below for more details.
