This August, Alnwick International Music Festival celebrates four decades of hosting music, whilst Bfestival in July is a fresh face on the scene.
In August, the historic market town of Alnwick is transformed for eight days of traditional music, folk dancing and colourful costumes. Set upon the backdrop of locations around the town, including Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden, this is a truly unique musical experience.
In contrast, Bfestival in Bamburgh is a recent addition to the Northumberland music scene. This boutique one-day festival in July celebrates all styles of music. From jazz to pop to classical, enjoy it all against the backdrop of the ancient seat of Northumbrian kings, Bamburgh Castle.
Dress how you please – from wellies to black tie, anything goes! Bring a picnic, a bottle of bubbly and prepare to dance in the glow of a Northumbrian sunset.
