Founded in 1994 by amateur Gilbert & Sullivan performers Ian and Neil Smith, the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival welcomes a worldwide audience to this quintessentially English event every year.

With its renowned friendly atmosphere, the festival will capture England’s most successful musical partnership by bringing together 30 fully-staged performances at the magnificent Royal Hall and Harrogate Theatre including The Pirates of Penzance, HMS Pinafore and The Mikado from the National Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company and Charles Court Opera.
