Escape to Winchcombe - the Walking Capital of the Cotswolds

Winchcombe, Gloucestershire

Explore an undiscovered side to the north Cotswolds by combining a tranquil stay in the ancient town of Winchcombe with some fantastic walking routes.

Winchcombe has a timeless quality about it with its Cotswold stone cottages enhanced by black and white half-timbered buildings, narrow side streets and charming houses making up the centre of town. Highlights include Sudeley Castle and the nearby Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.

Walk along part of the Cotswolds Way from Winchcombe to Belas Knap to get some amazing views across the unspoilt English countryside and explore its wildlife.

Other places to visit are Stanton, Stanway, Snowshill, Naunton and Guiting – all lovely Cotswolds villages.  The great outdoors is waiting for you!
