Camp Bestival (Bestival’s family-friendly sibling) brings music, comedy and hordes of fun to the Dorset coast each summer.
Aimed primarily at families, this alternative music festival in July, held at Lulworth Castle, is a whole weekend of kid-friendly fun mixed with all the elements of a grown-up music festival.
Organised by husband-wife combo Rob and Josie da Bank, the headline acts usually consist of chart-topping acts from the 70s and 80s to appease parents, with live entertainment for kids providing a supporting bill earlier in the day. In addition to the live acts and DJs, other attractions over the weekend include comedy, cabaret, theatre shows, readings from famous authors and plenty of glorious food.
Bring your tent, fancy dress and wellies and dance the weekend away at this cracking music festival in a fairytale setting.
Camp Bestival 2019 takes place from 25-28 July. Notable acts on this year's bill include Nile Rodgers & Chic, Jess Glynne, The Human League and Sister Sledge.
