Located just twelve miles from Manchester, Head for the Hills Fest is the place to head for a festival with impressive headliners, local flavours and a relaxed atmosphere.
A cricket club is not your average festival venue, but then Head for the Hills Festival is anything other than ordinary. Previously known as Ramsbottom Fest, it brings top class music acts and local gourmet food vendors together for one glorious late summer weekend.
This is a festival with an air of gentility, where people smile at you as they dance to the silent disco, form an orderly queue while waiting to sample some local black pudding, and help out if you can’t get your tent up.
The kids haven't been forgotten about either. There’s story-telling and art workshops to keep them entertained until you give into their pleas and take them to Rammy’s very own funfair.
Head for the Hills Festival 2018 runs from 14-16 September, and features sets from The Boomtown Rats and The Bluetones.
