Located just twelve miles from Manchester, Rammy Fest is the place to head for a festival with impressive headliners, local flavours and a relaxed atmosphere.
A cricket club is not your average festival venue, but then ‘Rammy Fest’– as the locals call it – is anything other than ordinary.
This is a festival with an air of gentility, where people smile at you as they dance to the silent disco, form an orderly queue while waiting to sample some local black pudding, and help out if you can’t get your tent up.
They haven’t forgotten kids either. There’s story-telling and art workshops to keep them entertained until you give into their pleas and take them to Rammy’s very own funfair.
Ramsbottom Festival runs from 15 to 17 September.
