Take in a show in the City's newest state-of-the-art performance and arts venue, Milton Court.
The £89 million redevelopment of the Milton Court site not only provides additional facilities for the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (one of the world’s leading conservatoires and drama schools), but also a world-class performance venue for everyone to enjoy.
Facilities include: a state-of-the-art 608-seat Concert Hall, two theatres, and bright public foyers which include a new work by Turner Prize-winning artist Martin Creed, Work No. 1637: FEELINGS, commissioned by the Guildhall School and developed in collaboration with Barbican Art Gallery.
In addition to the School’s public performances, Milton Court Concert Hall will host a year-round series of classical and contemporary concerts as part of the Barbican’s renowned music programme. This includes performances from the Barbican’s two new associate ensembles – the Academy of Ancient Music and the Britten Sinfonia – alongside one-off special events, artistic and commercial hires, and programmes from the Barbican and Guildhall School’s joint Creative Learning division.
