July events: Rhythmtree Festival
Shalfleet, Isle of Wight
Rhythmtree Festival on the Isle of Wight promises vegan food and happy faces, along with top global music stars for festival-goers of all ages.
Rhythmtree Festival's main goal is to create a unique, happy atmosphere, unlike any that can be found at any other festival in England. Hosted across a number of themed areas, Rhythmtree is focused on being family-friendly with activities for kids and a variety of entertainment for all ages.
The music acts cover a whole range of global music, such as Afrobeat, Cuban, reggae, folk, blues and more. As well as featuring artists from around the world there is also a healthy mix of local Isle of Wight musicians, bands and DJs. Artists on this year's bill include The Orb, Alabama 3 and Cast.
Unlike most festivals, it’s free to park your car and camp at Rhythmtree. And at the end of a long day of good times and great music, you can take it easy at one of their healing areas or even at their specially built traditional pub.
