Head to the UK's football capital

Manchester, Greater Manchester

Explore the National Football Museum and enjoy stadium tours around not one, but two of the world’s biggest clubs.

Plan your itinerary well and you could have a football day out to dream of. Explore the world's finest collection of football artefacts and archives at the National Football Museum. It’s free to enter but to make your trip even more memorable you can buy a ticket for the Football Plus experience, testing your speed, reactions and accuracy on the ball.

Take a short stroll to Albert Square and enjoy traditional English food and real ale for lunch at The Albert Square Chop House. Enjoy dishes including fish and chips and steak & kidney pudding.

It’s then just a short walk to St Peter’s Square Metrolink station and a ten minute journey to Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United Football Club. See the stadium through the eyes of Manchester United greats on a museum and stadium tour.

Alternatively, take the Metrolink to the Etihad Campus, home to Manchester City Football Club. They also offer stadium and club tours that showcase the pride, passion and heritage of the club.
