Treat yourself to The Gunton Arms’ gourmet menu before bedding down in a luxury room for the night.
Located right in the middle of a 1000 acre deer park, it won’t surprise you to learn that The Gunton Arms’ signature dish is venison. It’s cooked along with steak and pork chops on the Elk Room Fire to give it a unique flavour, but meat isn’t the only thing on the menu getting the Gunton treatment; mussels, Cromer crab and partridge have all been sourced from the vicinity too.
The décor of this place is as elegant as the dishes, as you’d expect from a pub owned by an art dealer. Should you be lucky enough to stay in one of the eight rooms, you’ll be spoilt with a free-standing bath, “his and hers” sinks and wood-carved beds.
