Salisbury has long been drawing people into the city with its historic streets, markets and of course, famous cathedral.
Head to the Cathedral Close where you'll find a variety of sculptures including Elizabeth Frink's 'Walking Madonna', look out for changing art exhibitions within The Salisbury Museum and Sarum College and temporary exhibitions with some big names within Salisbury Cathedral.
Visit during late May through to early June for the annual Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival, which brings with it a host of concerts, theatrical productions, exhibitions, talks and visual arts performances at various venues across the city.
With so much to see and do here, one day is never enough. Make a break of it and discover a wide range of places to stay.
