Wrap up warm and lace-up your skates this Christmas at the sparkling Frost Village, with a real ice rink, traditional Christmas market and fun fair.
Winter-loving brother and sister duo The Frostlings will be packing up their tiny ice backpacks and leaving their snowdome homes in a magical, far away land to come and sprinkle a little Christmas spirit throughout Sunderland.
From November 26 until Christmas Eve, a real ice rink will be in the heart of Keel Square, where skating lessons, disco sessions and even “polar bear” skating aids will be available
The Frostlings will also be bringing a traditional Christmas market packed with goodies to please your taste buds, including hot cocoa to keep you warm and tasty Christmas cookies to nibble on.
After you’ve finished pretending you’re Torvill and Dean on the ice rink, or finished indulging in the market’s mulled wine, head over the road to the Vaux Site where a 15 metre Ferris Wheel will stand tall over Sunderland’s city centre landmarks as part of the festive fairground.
