Dine on fresh, local food by candlelight in this grand 17th century Jacobean manor in Halifax, then stay in one of 39 uniquely furnished bedrooms.
The 17th Century, oak panelled restaurant at Holdsworth House offers modern home-cooked food. Dinner is served by candle light in the three adjoining, beautifully furnished rooms, which overlook the gardens. Each offers a unique atmosphere, a lovely original fireplace and stone mullioned windows to the outside world.
The restaurant has held 2 AA Rosettes for over 14 consecutive years and is recommended by Jamie Oliver on the ‘Jamie’s Guide to the Best of British Food’ mobile app.
With The Beatles as former guests to the hotel, it’s clear to see why Holdsworth House is a popular choice. Its open fires, cosy lounges, fine antiques and tapestries create a sense of calm and comfort at Holdsworth House, whilst the 39 charming bedrooms located in the award winning extension, have all been individually furnished.
