Henry Moore: Sculpting from Nature Exhibition at The Lightbox, Woking
This new and unique exhibition will feature over 50 artworks by Henry Moore, perceived by many as the greatest British sculptor of the 20th century.
Moore was inspired throughout his life by objects from nature that he found and was given including bones, skulls, flintstones, driftwood and shells.
This exhibition will show the artistic process of his work from found object, to drawing and on to finished sculpture and will include drawings, maquettes, working models and monumental sculptures, plus prints and studio materials lent by the Henry Moore Foundation, the charitable trust set up by Moore and his family in 1977.
