Autumn is an exciting time as it heralds Dorset Food Fortnight, giving us all a great excuse to focus on the fabulous food and drink that is produced within and from the landscape of Dorset.
Beginning with the Wimborne Food Festival, everyone is invited to celebrate two whole weeks of autumn-inspired activities and events across the county such as Feast Weymouth and the popular Screen Bites Festival - England’s only Food Film Festival.
Dorset’s year round celebration of local food also includes the Christchurch Food & Wine Festival, the Dorset Seafood Festival, Dorset Venison Festival and the Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival, not forgetting the Great Dorset Chilli Festival and the Dorset Food & Drink Christmas Fair at Athelhampton House. Yum!
