Bordeaux Quay is restaurant, brasserie, bar deli and more, all under one roof.
Sitting astride Bristol's pretty harbourside development is a place devoted to food and drink, from every angle. Bordeaux Quay is restaurant, brasserie, bar, deli, bakery and cookery school all rolled into one. But far from spreading itself thin, the location has won a thick helping of awards, from its sustainable ethos to its excellent food. Restaurant magazine saw fit to name it the country's 37th-best restaurant.
Founded in 1926, the Bordeaux Quay building became a vital cargo hub for the burgeoning west country city, and got its name from the barrels of wine that came from southern France in its early days. Today the restaurant is no less a local icon and is committed to sourcing ingredients from the region.
