Don your chef’s hat at Birmingham’s Michelin-starred eateries

Birmingham, West Midlands

At the elegant Simpsons restaurant you’ll do more than enjoy a tranquil lunch. You’ll be swapping places with the chef and making the food yourself.

Sample some delicious lunchtime offerings in one of Birmingham’s best restaurants for elegant fine dining – but with a twist.

Cutting-edge restaurant, Simpsons, does more than just serve Michelin-starred food in tranquil surroundings. On their one-day cookery course you can swap places with the chef and make the food yourself!

Preparing a three-course meal in a professional kitchen might sound daunting but Head Chef Adam Bennett talks you through every stage and with only twelve in a class, the atmosphere is reassuringly relaxed.

Once you’ve finished glazing and flambéing, the whole class sits down for a lip-smacking three-course lunch. Afterwards you’ll get a tour of the wine cellars from the Head Sommelier and toast your culinary talents in the restaurant bar.

Retire for the night in any one of Simpsons’ chic and stylish bedrooms, each one designed with a different theme in mind.
