Held on the first weekend in August, it is one of the largest multicultural events in the East Midlands with an estimated 20,000 people in attendence and offers something for the entire family with a safe, vibrant and buzzing atmosphere.
Celebrations begin with the official opening ceremony in Victoria Park followed by the eye catching street carnival, featuring various troupes and floats displaying magnificent costumes.
