Follow in the wheel tracks of gold medalist and Tour de France winner Sir Bradley Wiggins on this Grand Cycle trail of Pendle.
This challenging 35 mile route takes you around some of the most stunning countryside, and features challenging climbs and thrilling descents.
Cycle through Trawden and Wycoller, much visited by the Brontës, scale the lanes around the famous Pendle Hill, and visit the infamous “witches graves” in the hilltop village of Newchurch. The route also takes in many other picturesque villages, like Earby, Salterforth, and Roughlee, where you can see the statue to famous Pendle Witch, Alice Nutter, and visit the last Clarion House in Britain.
There are many other great resting spots to take refreshments on route, including the Sparrowhawk Inn, which is Highest Quality Assured with Taste Lancashire.
