Enjoy a day cycling this 17.5 mile (26km) circular cycle route starting from the bustling market town of Pocklington.
This route winds through the dry valley of Millington Dale to Huggate one of the highest villages on the Yorkshire Wolds, it continues across Warter Wold to the attractive estate village of Warter where the Wolds Heritage Centre at the former St James Church depicts the history of life on the Wolds.
Wooded lanes through Nunburnholme and Burnby lead you back to Pocklington and Stewarts Burnby Hall and Gardens home to the largest collection of hardy water lilies in a natural setting in the UK.
Pocklington welcomes the many cyclists and walkers en-route through the Yorkshire Wolds. It offers a perfect stop off point with a selection of cafes bars and coffee houses and tea shop, art galleries and independent shops. Market day is Tuesday.
