Grab your bike and explore the new cycle trail linking Stoke-on-Trent's 'China' attractions to celebrate the 'China' anniversary of the National Cycle Network.
Stoke-on-Trent’s brand new China Cycle Trail celebrates this anniversary by linking an amazing cluster of ceramic ‘China’ attractions together on a delightful scenic route that is mainly on traffic-free national cycle routes, including towpaths along the Trent & Mersey and Cauldon canals and along greenways that form part of Stoke-on-Trent’s fantastic cycling network. There are famous name potteries with factory tours, shops and cosy cafés on route, as well as fascinating museums and poignant reminders of this area’s rich ceramic heritage. You can bring your own bike or hire one from Brompton Bike Hire at Stoke- on-Trent’s mainline railway Station.
