If you are looking for an eclectic mix of music, cabaret and entertainment then this is the festival for you.
Bestival, which takes place at Robin Hill Country Park every September, has won numerous awards since it began in 2004. Providing a mix of great atmosphere with an almost endless lineup of entertainment, it draws more than 50,000 party-goers every year.
Bestival’s diverse headline music acts have included Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Fatboy Slim, The Beastie Boys and Kraftwerk, and it has become one of the highlights on the UK festival calendar.
Each year there is an optional fancy dress theme with ’dressing up day’ on Saturday featuring a huge parade through the main site – in 2010 they won the Guinness World Record for the most people in fancy dress at one event.
You will find at least 15 stages and areas spread across the site, each offering something slightly different, and if you like to party in luxury there are a whole host of boutique camping options.
This year’s lineup includes The Cure, Major Lazer, Hot Chip, Ride and The Human League.
Bestival takes place from 8 to 11 September.
