Climb trees in the Sussex countryside

Brighton & Hove, East Sussex

Forget the 9 to 5; ditch the suit and relive your childhood with Climbing Wild in Ditchling, close to Brighton.

Climbing trees is not just for kids. Here, recreational tree-climbing is open to everyone. If you’re trying to conquer a fear of heights, then you can climb slowly, branch by branch. But for the more adventurous this is a chance to safely swing from the trees at 60 feet in the air.

The Climbing Wild centre is right by Blackberry Wood’s picturesque campsite so why not make a break of it and camp out afterwards, swapping tree-climbing stories round the campfire.

You don’t have to bring a tent as Blackberry Wood has its own eco-perch – the Curvy Cabin.
