Climb higher than the peregrines at Derby Cathedral

Derby, Derbyshire

Put your best foot forward and upward and head for the dizzy heights of Derby Cathedral tower.

During the 189 steps climb, you’ll be able to take a breather at the belfry and see the oldest ring of 10 bells in the world.

At the summit, stand alongside the flapping flagpole and let the wind rush through your hair as you enjoy stunning views of Derby reaching out over three counties. It’s no wonder a family of peregrine falcons have made this their home for a number of years. They’re so settled, they have their own web-cam so you can watch the babies grow.
