Join the thousands of people each year at the world-famous Lyme Regis Fossil Festival celebrating millions of years of history.
Sitting at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast, Lyme Regis is a hotbed for fascinating fossil finds made famous by Mary Anning. You can see examples of some of the biggest and best fossils to be found and learn how these creatures from the past lived and died along the Jurassic coastline.
Unearth your own part of history on a guided fossil walk; you could even discover your very own monster from the past. There are plenty of hands-on experiences and interactive displays. The festival works with fantastic partner organisations such as the Natural History Museum, Lyme Regis Museum, Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre and Plymouth University.
