Be moved by thousands of red poppies on display at Derby Silk Mill

See Poppies Weeping Window by Derby artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper in June and July.

The cascading Poppies: Weeping Window is made up of thousands of handmade ceramic poppies; you may remember it from its appearance at the Tower of London as part of the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red installation.

Derby Silk Mill is the perfect host for this dramatic piece, as during the World War I it contributed towards the British war effort by grinding corn and making medical supplies - both of which were in short supply in 1916.
