Scarborough’s Spa Complex stands out, not only because of its striking location on the beautiful South Bay, but also for the variety of modern conference facilities housed within its Grade II-listed Victorian facade.
The splendid Grand Hall is flooded with daylight, creating a great exhibition space, or can be kitted out with theatre style seats for up to 1,630 people. The Ocean Room has sea-facing windows its entire length and is a multi-purpose venue capable of hosting up to 700 delegates or 771 sq metres of exhibition space. The Vita Dome – perhaps the most iconic feature of the Spa Complex – is a curved space with sea views that will really get people talking.
Fine dining can be experienced in Farrer’s Bar and Brasserie, named in honour of local woman Mrs Thomasin Farrer who discovered the spring waters more than 400 years ago.
