The background to this house will inspire. Rhodes Scholars from around the world receive the famous fellowships in order to study at Oxford University, with many going on to be presidents and prime ministers of native countries.
For over three-quarters of a century it was an exclusive meeting place for the scholars and their guests but the venue has now opened the doors to meeting organisers. Rhodes House is available for exclusive use for big functions or hire individual rooms for meetings, receptions and dinners.
Oak-panelled walls, stone-mullioned windows, marble fireplaces and even a minstrels’ gallery create unique talking points. Or why not create an entrance with aperitifs in the domed circular hall called The Rotunda.
The sun-drenched West Lawn is the spot for large marquee events for up to 250 people, and drinks can be supped in the award-winning English country walled gardens.
