Pride & Prejudice author, Jane Austen, spent many an afternoon enjoying the tea, cake and a helping of Regency gossip in Bath’s most elegant eatery. Today, the venue provides the perfect place to host your corporate events to discuss business

The Pump Room’s Afternoon Tea still includes homemade scones, cucumber sandwiches and strawberry jam, all served with pristine white napkins and polished silver cutlery. There’s even the option of some bubbly if you have something particular to celebrate with colleagues.

For a unique experience, delegates can try the hot Spa water at the fountain in the Pump Room containing 43 minerals.  Spa water has been used for curative purposes for two thousand years.  Originally treatments involved bathing in the hot waters, then in the late 17th Century drinking spa water also became a treatment method.

Elegant and atmospheric, the venue makes a memorable setting for any dinner, party or reception.
