The Grand is an iconic piece of British history. Built in 1864 – it featured one of the first-ever working lifts in Victorian England – this incredible building remains one of the most prestigious places to stay in Brighton. To this day its instantly recognisable architecture maintains it as an icon on Brighton’s seafront, often being featured as a filming location.
Today, there are fully equipped modern meeting and conference facilities and even a luxurious spa. The GB1 seafood restaurant also makes the most of the local catch in high-class surroundings. The hotel has undergone a multi-million pound investment and 201 luxury bedrooms have been restored to their former glory.
The elegant Empress Suite is self-contained with its own private entrance and lobby and can take up to 900 delegates. Other rooms and suites offer sea views, soundproofed break-out areas and options to interlink. Away days and special events can even charter a 43ft (14m) yacht, the AnnabelOlivia, to take out on the famous waves of the English Channel.
