Windsor Castle
Founded in Norman times by William the Conqueror, Windsor Castle is one of the world’s oldest occupied palaces in the world. It is one of the Royal residences for the Queen and has been home to 39 monarchs during its illustrious history. Treat groups to a behind-the-ropes evening tour of the State Apartments, where they’ll hear 1,000 years of royal history, together with how the State Apartments are used today by The Queen on State and ceremonial occasions. Finish with flair with a glass of Champagne in this iconic, historical landmark. |
Eton College Tours
Eton is an illustrious public school, famous for educating royalty, including Prince William and Harry. Founded in 1440, this historic British institution offers a seasonal programme of private tours, featuring many of the earliest buildings and objects from the College Collections. The tour covers School Yard, College Chapel, Upper School, Lower School, and the Museum of Eton Life. Private viewings of available temporary exhibitions in the Verey Gallery are also included. |
Horse-riding at Coworth Park
Coworth Park is a 240-acre private country estate on the edge of Windsor Great Park. It offers a luxury spa and equestrian facilities for groups who want to hone their riding skills. This is the only hotel with its own polo fields and lessons are offered in conjunction with Guards Polo Club. Groups can also learn dressage, jumping or basic riding skills with a one-hour hack around the estate. There’s also an all-weather gallop track. |
Monkey Island Estate
Treat groups to their own private island, hidden on the River Thames at Bray, complete with a five-star hotel, set across seven acres. The village of Bray is known for three-star Michelin dining at The Waterside Inn or The Fat Duck. Accessed only by footbridge, boat or helicopter and surrounded by elegant gardens, Monkey Island Estate is reminiscent of a secluded paradise, yet is only 10 minutes from Windsor. Featuring the stately and spacious Marlborough Ballroom for receptions of up to 200 guests, and the graceful River Room for 120 standing guests, Monkey Island Estate has event spaces for every occasion. |
