Portsmouth Guildhall

From the grandeur of the Main Auditorium and the decadence of the Lord Mayor’s Banqueting Suite, to the intimacy of the surrounding spaces, delegates will not fail to be impressed once immersed in the historic ambience of the Guildhall.

  • The Main Auditorium is a flexible space with the all-important wow factor. It can host conferences for up to 2,009 delegates theatre-style, standing receptions for 1,000 guests or seated dinners for 420 diners. 
  • Following a £130,000 investment, the Guildhall Studio is available for conferences, meetings, dinners and team-building for up to 170 delegates seated or, a 210-capacity standing reception.
  • Located on the second floor, the Banqueting Room offers grandeur fit for the Lord Mayor. Rich in history, this decadent room with high ceilings and original features is bathed in natural light from its grand windows. It can host up to 110 people. 
  • Located on the first floor, the Portsmouth Room has its own bar and lounge area and can host up to 150 people for a standing reception.

Portsmouth Marriott Hotel

Best Western Royal Beach Hotel

 

Standing proudly on the seafront at Southsea since 1866, this historic Victorian hotel evokes an authentic feeling of bygone days.

  • With 124 bedrooms and recently refurbished to a high standard, the Best Western Royal Beach Hotel provides excellent accommodation and conferencing space.
  • It offers six purpose-built private function suites to suit a wide variety of events for up to 280 guests.
  • Each space is named after a famous ship. Invincible is the largest and can seat 250 theatre-style. Victory can seat 100 theatre-style or 60 in a classroom layout.
  • The Coast Bar offers private hire for barbecues, hog roast parties, and curry nights or receptions with finger buffet and canapé menus.

Portsmouth Community Football Club

The home of Portsmouth Football Club, the stadium at Fratton Park has a wide variety of rooms available for private hire with bespoke catering options.

  • Match-day hospitality is offered in five executive lounges. Packages include a three or four-course meal, executive seating, player visits and much more.
  • The Legends Lounge is ideal for smaller meetings or functions for around 100 guests. This is a versatile and popular lounge on the ground floor, with its own private bar.
  • The Victory can accommodate over 500 standing guests with two separate and private entrances. This lounge has two fully functional bars and a partition wall.
  • The Warrior Lounge is formed when the partition wall is up in the Victory Lounge. It offers a self-contained room for over 100 guests with its own entrance, a private bar and toilets.

Royal Maritime Club & Hotel

One of the oldest hotels in Portsmouth, The Royal Maritime Club & Hotel has been providing accommodation since 1850. The club gained 'Royal patronage' in 1855, after a visit from Prince Albert.

  • The Trafalgar Ballroom can seat up to 400 people for cocktail receptions and 300 for seated banquets.
  • The Hood Room is an ideal place for smaller, more intimate meetings.
  • The hotel has 90 ensuite bedrooms.
  • Its leisure facilities can be hired for private functions. How about an office darts competition or a group snooker tournament? There’s even a two-lane skittle alley for groups of up to 80.
