University of Hull

The University of Hull has been an inspired learning institution for over 90 years, and now offers updated events space following significant investment.
- The university has recently completed a £7 million makeover of its event facilities and a £9.5 million redevelopment of Middleton Hall, which includes a 406-seater auditorium, cinema and conference facilities with tiered seating.
- Built in 1948, Canham Turner is one of the oldest buildings on campus and blends heritage with high technology. It has 15 event spaces for up to 300 delegates.
- Based at the heart of campus, the Brynmor Jones Library has six spaces, ideal for receptions and networking events for up to 150 guests.
- The campus lawns offer 40 acres of parkland for outdoor events and experiences.

Hull City Hall

Hull City Hall - dating from the early 20th Century - hosts everything from comedy and live music to conferences, fairs, award ceremonies, gala dinners and exhibitions.
- The main hall has capacity for 1,200 people seated or for 1,800 standing.
- The Mortimer Suite has a capacity for up to 300 people theatre-style.
- Hull City Hall is right in the city centre in Queen Victoria Square.
- The building’s balcony is where famous faces and dignitaries gather for the annual Christmas lights switch-on and where the city’s sporting stars celebrate their achievements in front of supporters.
