Former students and professors have changed the course of international history inside the walls of The University of Cambridge, an institution originally established by King Henry VII. Famous names include Sir Isaac Newton, Sir Francis Bacon, Charles Darwin and Stephen Hawking in addition to the staggering 89 Nobel Prize winners produced here. That legacy of excellence started in 1209 and continues to this day with Cambridge leading the world in a range of sectors including sciences and mathematics, and can even claim the title of ‘the home of computing’.

With 31 different colleges and a whole host of potential venues, from vaulted libraries and grand medieval dining halls, to huge lecture theatres and auditoriums, Cambridge creates the right atmosphere for a leading business event.

Few delegates could fail to be impressed by an event hosted at one of the world’s leading universities and research centres, especially when they have the opportunity to view the colleges by the university’s traditional past-time – punting along the River Cam.
