Racing at Newmarket
Newmarket, Cambridgeshire
Nothing can match the spectacle and excitement of a day at Newmarket Racecourse.
It’s not called the sport of kings for nothing, and a day spent at the races has long been one of the most glamorous and exciting events in the English calendar. Countless royals, from Charles II to our current Queen, have been entranced by the feverish drama on offer at ‘The Home of Racing’.
Racing in Newmarket dates back to the 16th century and now features two magical courses, The Rowley Mile and The July Course, which together form a fantastic venue in the east of England.
In 2000 the Millennium Grandstand was built creating a cutting-edge conference and business event venue, capable of hosting anything from a small meeting for a handful of people, to a conference for 300 delegates. With banquets, exhibitions and world-class sport on offer at Newmarket it really is possible to mix business with pleasure.
