Located right next to York train station and less than a mile from the city centre, the award-winning National Railway Museum is the largest of its kind in the world. The facilities consist of 2 large halls, one housing some of the world’s most iconic locomotives, the other a beautiful platform setting with luxurious carriages including a collection of ornate Royal Saloons. Receptions for up to 1000 guests and banquets for up to 800 can be held in the halls, where guests are immersed among these famous exhibits to make a truly memorable venue for events.

The Museum’s dedicated conference centre won ‘Conference Venue of the Year’ in 2013 at the Visit York Tourism Awards and was recently refurbished to further improve facilities. There are six suites available accommodating small meetings to larger conferences for up to 140 delegates. The museum also has a selection of exciting teambuilding actvities to get everyone moving full steam ahead towards reaching goals.
