The museum’s impressive Edwardian Baroque building is an established city landmark that provides an elegant setting for entertaining on a grand or modest scale. 

The Wills and Winterstoke halls on the ground floor are the main spaces available for hire; along with the ground floor galleries, containing a range of interesting touring exhibitions and fascinating permanent displays. The Wills and Winterstoke halls can accommodate up to 400 guests for drinks receptions and 120 people for formal sit-down dinners.

The Hide at Bristol Zoo Gardens

Add some animal magic to your event whilst supporting the charitable work of Bristol Zoo. 

The Hide Restaurant at Bristol Zoo Gardens is available for private bookings outside of the Zoo’s usual opening hours and has a maximum capacity of 350. Guests can enjoy a stroll along the terrace, taking in the sights and sounds of the Zoo on their way down to The Hide.

Thornbury Castle

Once owned by Henry VIII, Thornbury Castle was where the king spent his honeymoon with Anne Boleyn. It boasts four different sized dining rooms, plus a team of highly qualified chefs, and attentive staff to help with banqueting plans. 

The Baron’s Sitting Room is perfect for lavish lunches with views over the vineyard or a cosy dinner party accompanied by a roaring fire. This intimate setting seats up to 24 guests while its annexe, the Chancellor’s Lounge, is ideal for pre or post-dinner drinks.
