From Saturday until July 5, Skegness and East Lindsey will once again be transformed into a magical kaleidoscope of colour as the SO Festival returns to the East Midlands. See street theatre, gigantic art installations, live music and fire dancing all for free at this international arts festival-on-sea. 

Join a party in the forest

See indie singer, Tom Odell at Sherwood Pines

See Tom Odell and The Vamps perform amongst the towering trees of Sherwood Pines Forest this weekend as part of Forest Live which is hosting an eclectic range of live acts in seven forests across England.

See the London Marathon of sailing

The Isle of Wight’s Festival of the Sea celebrates everything nautical with sea shanty singalongs, sword-fighting pirates, lighthouse tours, foodie events and boats rides until July 5. The star of the show though is the Round the Island Race, a huge competition made up of 1,600 boats and featuring some of the biggest names in sailing taking place on Saturday.

Celebrate Frida Kahlo in Greenwich

Fire up your imagination at The Greenwich & Docklands International Festival

Head to South East London for The Greenwich & Docklands International Festival which starts this Saturday and runs across two weeks at various iconic venues including the Old Royal Naval College, Woolwich Arsenal, and Severndroog Castle. Highlights include the huge variety of street theatre being showcased at the Greenwich Fair this Saturday and Sunday and a dazzling display of aerial choreography, pyrotechnics and video projections to celebrate the life and work of Frida Kahlo from July 1 to 4.
