Visit Brockholes Nature Reserve’s unique floating visitor centre

Everyone is welcome at Brockholes, near Preston. Whether you’re a naturalist or a beginner, there’s something for you to enjoy and lots of chances for you to get close to nature.


Based on the site of an old quarry, the Lancashire Wildlife Trust have used their expertise to create habitats for lots of different wildlife.

Their spectacular floating Visitor Village is the first of its kind in England, bringing you as close to nature as possible.
