Rainy Day Activities: Try a Tipple at Plymouth Gin Distillery

Plymouth, Devon

At one of Plymouth's oldest indoor attractions, see first hand how Plymouth's unique smooth gin is made.

The Plymouth Blackfriars Gin Distillery is the oldest working gin distillery in England, and it has been making Plymouth Gin according to the original recipe since 1793.

Take part in the ultimate gin experience and be fascinated by the history of the Distillery and how Plymouth Gin is made. This unique opportunity compares different tastes and styles of gin as part of a tutoring tasting, or embark on a Master Distiller's Tour for a more in-depth experience.

For history lovers, you can indulge in a cocktail in the Distillery's historic bar 'The Refectory', which is believed to be the room where the Pilgrim Fathers spent their last night before setting sail for the New World.
