This 5 mile circular walk takes you through the stunning landscape of the Durham Dales, within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

It includes two of the most spectacular natural features in Durham; the Low and High Force Waterfalls, and the high point of the walk (literally) is gazing upon England’s highest uninterrupted drop of water, High Force Waterfall.

This is one of England’s most special places – a peaceful, unspoilt landscape, where nestled within this spectacular scenery is bustling birdlife, wonderful wildlife and an array of flowers.

Before or after your walk, call in to Bowlees Visitor Centre to warm up with a tea or coffee, and get all the information you need to explore the area further.
