Take tea in a crypt below Trafalgar Square in London

London

Take a stroll through London's Trafalgar Square, then stop off at St Martin-in-the-Fields Church for a spot afternoon tea in the crypt.

The Café in the Crypt beneath St Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square is a great underground venue for afternoon tea and a recent winner of the Les Routiers Café of the Year.

Afternoon tea is served beneath the 18th century brick-vaulted ceiling from 2pm to 6pm each day and includes fruit scones with Cornish clotted cream and jam, chocolate fudge cake, lemon drizzle cake and tea or coffee.

Music fans might like to book tickets for the live jazz nights every Wednesday evening too.
